Sam Wells Workshop

St. John's is excited to host the Reverend Dr. Sam Wells, respected Anglican theologian, ethicist, and pastor, in March.

On Saturday, March 11,  the Rev. Dr. Sam Wells will present a workshop on "Living Without Enemies," exploring what it means to Live With the World in the midst of violence - the theological dimensions of solidarity, reconciliation, and life with our neighbor, our government, and the other. Using the St. John's Bible in Worship During Lent

The Saint John’s Bible is the first completely handwritten and illuminated Bible commissioned by a Benedictine Abbey since the invention of the printing press. It was completed in 2011 and created in the style of medieval manuscripts.
