St. James Episcopal Church on the Parkway in Minneapolis: a Permission-Giving Church

For our annual Vestry Retreat we picked up a copy of Randolph Ferebee's book "Cultivating the Missional Church: New Soil for Growing Vestries and Leaders" (Morehouse, 2009). Its a fairly concise text giving direction to 21st century Vestries on how to sustain growth and leadership in congregations. The Spirituality of a Break-in

We had a break-in this past weekend at St. James and I found myself telling people that this is why we pray.
