The cross is the central symbol of the Christian faith, representing both suffering and salvation, sacrifice and forgiveness, redemption and hope. Throughout the ages it has been the focus of Christian art and architecture, worn as jewelry, and cherished as an object of personal devotion.
Throughout the Easter season, the church will feature an exhibit of crosses and cross artwork from members of St. John’s, plus a photographic survey of 100 crosses from diverse sources and traditions. You are welcome to visit and view the exhibit in the Gallery (hallway outside the Fireside Room).
The exhibit runs through May 8.
