Event Description

Dr. Steven D. Paulson, Professor of Systematic Theology at Luther Seminary, will offer Adult Education on Sundays, October 1 and 8, at 10 a.m. in the Youth Loft at Messiah.

Paulson currently serves on the editorial boards of Word and World and both the Lutheran Quarterly and Dialog and has written articles for both journals. He is the author of Luther for Armchair Theologians, Lutheran TheologyA Brief Introduction to Martin Luther, and editor of A More Radical GospelThe Captivation of the Will, and The Preached God all written by Gerhard Forde.

Dr. Paulson will explore the question, What is the Gospel? Why was it the cause of the world wide Reformation? Why do we need the Gospel today?
